First android phone I found in Mexico. He was given the phone from his brother in California.
Interest is that everyone has a blackberry here and a couple with Iphone and iPad.
Is RIM marketing aggressive in Latin America? Or could it be Verizon and Google are lazy with product marketing outside of the USA.

Four of the Fukushima Daiichi plant’s six reactors are shown in this satellite photo from Geoeye via Google Earth. The reactors are the four tall buildings inland of the four longer buildings; the Pacific Ocean to the east is on the bottom of this photo. Reactors four, five, and six had been shut down before the earthquake and tsunami, but plant operators are struggling to cool down units one and three.

In a dramatic escalation of Japan’s nuclear crisis, officials warned of elevated radiation levels after another explosion and reactor fire rocked the earthquake-damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, the third explosion in four days.
In a nationally televised statement reported by Reuters and other news agencies, Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan said radiation has spread from four reactors at the plant.
“The level seems very high, and there is still a very high risk of more radiation coming out,” Kan said. “We are making every effort to prevent the leak from spreading. I know that people are very worried but I would like to ask you to act calmly.”
Meanwhile, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said an explosion and fire at the plant’s No. 4 reactor had released radioactive steam and urged anyone within a 20-kilometer radius to stay indoors.

Please Comment with your thoughts on this! I am in support of the legacy of the Sioux and feel the nickname can be used and proper respect can be given to the Sioux People.————
By: Dale Wetzel, Associated Press
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — State senators voted Friday to force the University of North Dakota to keep its Fighting Sioux nickname, but the school’s president said he would take his orders from the Board of Higher Education instead.
The Senate’s 28-15 vote, following last month’s overwhelming approval in the House, sets up a confrontation with the NCAA and the state education board, which asserts that it has the final say on whether the nickname stays or goes.

iReport —
I submit one blog post and one forum thread to educate the general public about Google’s evolution away from an uncensored interent and towards a corporate heavy handed approach to the web. Why is Google turning in such a direction? Is this because of investor pressure, Microsoft Bing pressure, Facebook pressure? Google leadership has changed significantly over the years and perhaps that can help answer the evolution of Google. Either way the general public should take it upon themselves to learn more about Google and the service they trust every day. Is this trust misplaced?

Just one more reason that the iPad 2 appears to be superior to other tablets such as the Motorola Xoom on the marketplace: http://www.crunchgear.com/2011/03/02/hands-on-with-the-ipad-2/ Go check out this video that features the new magnetic cover for the soon to be released iPad 2. As is usual with Apple products, there seem to be no end to ultracool features that are actually somewhat helpful. Not only is the iPad 2 a great piece of hardware, but accessories developed for this tablet are cool as well. In this video, you see an incoming call as well. Although the iPad is not designed to replace a mobile phone, a user can use a wired headset or the built-in speaker and microphone and place phone calls over Wi-Fi or 3G using a VoIP application.
Only downside I can see so far is the proprietary nature of Apple and their products. Developers need a license to develop apps for the iPhone and iPad. There are also some claims that you don’t have good file access on the iPad, even with the installation of iFile.
So it would appear that straight out of the box tends to lean way towards the iPad 2. If you have the desire (in this case – NEED to) modify the tablet and OS, go ahead and pick up a Xoom. Just be ready to have to do a lot of changing to get it to work the way you want. That in addition to the price you will have to pay, need I say more? For the mass consumer, iPad tends to be a better experience.

Please take a moment today to worship with us and give thanks that it was His will and glory to overcome Influenza-A & RSV in such short time. Our heart goes out to all the other parents out there that have a young one fighting this dangerous virus.
