First android phone I found in Mexico. He was given the phone from his brother in California.
Interest is that everyone has a blackberry here and a couple with Iphone and iPad.
Is RIM marketing aggressive in Latin America? Or could it be Verizon and Google are lazy with product marketing outside of the USA.

Four of the Fukushima Daiichi plant’s six reactors are shown in this satellite photo from Geoeye via Google Earth. The reactors are the four tall buildings inland of the four longer buildings; the Pacific Ocean to the east is on the bottom of this photo. Reactors four, five, and six had been shut down before the earthquake and tsunami, but plant operators are struggling to cool down units one and three.

In a dramatic escalation of Japan’s nuclear crisis, officials warned of elevated radiation levels after another explosion and reactor fire rocked the earthquake-damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, the third explosion in four days.
In a nationally televised statement reported by Reuters and other news agencies, Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan said radiation has spread from four reactors at the plant.
“The level seems very high, and there is still a very high risk of more radiation coming out,” Kan said. “We are making every effort to prevent the leak from spreading. I know that people are very worried but I would like to ask you to act calmly.”
Meanwhile, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said an explosion and fire at the plant’s No. 4 reactor had released radioactive steam and urged anyone within a 20-kilometer radius to stay indoors.

Please Comment with your thoughts on this! I am in support of the legacy of the Sioux and feel the nickname can be used and proper respect can be given to the Sioux People.————
By: Dale Wetzel, Associated Press
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — State senators voted Friday to force the University of North Dakota to keep its Fighting Sioux nickname, but the school’s president said he would take his orders from the Board of Higher Education instead.
The Senate’s 28-15 vote, following last month’s overwhelming approval in the House, sets up a confrontation with the NCAA and the state education board, which asserts that it has the final say on whether the nickname stays or goes.
iReport —
I submit one blog post and one forum thread to educate the general public about Google’s evolution away from an uncensored interent and towards a corporate heavy handed approach to the web. Why is Google turning in such a direction? Is this because of investor pressure, Microsoft Bing pressure, Facebook pressure? Google leadership has changed significantly over the years and perhaps that can help answer the evolution of Google. Either way the general public should take it upon themselves to learn more about Google and the service they trust every day. Is this trust misplaced?

Scarlett is well on her way to recovery and has been discharged! Alyssa and I are amazed at this answer to prayer. Please take a moment today to worship with us and give thanks that it was His will and glory to overcome Influenza-A & RSV in such short time. Our heart goes out to all the other parents out there that have a young one fighting this dangerous virus.
God Bless,
Daniel & Alyssa

Troy from Calvary just left and we had the joy of praying in thanks and awe. Our baby girl has had her oxygen tubes removed and it feels like a miracle! She has been without the added oxygen for several hours and has maintaned a 94%+ Oxygen saturation level. Thank you soo much for all the prayers. Praise and glory be to God for all of his wonderfull works.
I would also like to give a thank you to Dr Chan and all of the nurses on the fourth floor. What caring and dedicated work you do!
Words from Alyssa Hoverson Schott, “Thank you all for your caring thoughts and prayers. We know that God is with our beautiful angel Scarlett as she continues to improve. She is a tough little cookie and even when she is sick she finds the strength to smile! Praise God for looking over her.”
{She is excited about this blogging thing and said she wants her own account after this is all over}
She certainly looks happy and ready to get out in the world! Glad to see she’s on the mend.
What a wonderful morning it is. Praise God for all the prayers and support we had yesterday. Alyssa, Scarlett, and I had a full night’s rest and we had much peace as God and Altru’s providers watched over us. I must send a specific thank you to our pastors at Calvary Lutheran church as we had a visit at just the right time yesterday and were able to spend time in prayer.
I have a wonderful video to share with you of Scarlett and some fun we had with her yesterday. Debbie Hoverson, Alyssa’s mother, stopped by with some flowers and a teddy bear {she collects them and knows the cutest ones} which cracked a nice smile by Scarlett. This was followed up by my parents Wayne and Marcia Schott who also brought in a teddy and ballon. With all this love Scarlett’s ear to ear smile was back!
Now I do have to caution that there is still a long struggle ahead. Scarlett has continued fast breathing, crackling, wheezing and is at high risk of developing pneumonia. The only thing we can do for her right now is continue to love, pray, and support her in any way we can. She is taking tamiflu and has oxygen to support her.
Her improved stats and least favorite medical device!
Glad to hear she is doing better. What a wonderful day. Hope the day continues to get better! She has the best family to care for her. Hope to see her again soon! XOXO
Hi Dan& Alyssa!

JJ & I want to let you know that we are praying for her and from here we send our love and good vibes your way!
OXOXOX
Scarlett is just beautiful! Thank you for directing me to this blog, so I could see all the pictures of her and read her story. It is evident that she is loved dearly by family and friends and that there is a great faith in God’s power amongst all of you. I will pray for her to continue to strengthen and heal quickly!
Glad to hear things are looking better. Wishing your family the best.
